My original goal with this piece was (and is!) to celebrate my son, Shia, who was diagnosed at birth with Down syndrome. Since it is a piece that honors the existence of "rare babies" we are now also donating to Praying Through Ministries in honor of Miles David Beheler, a little boy who lived purposely and fully for 22 days with Osteogensis Imperfecta. My hope is to be able to sell enough prints to cover the cost of one Jack's basket ($150) and at least one gift to a grieving parent through PTM ($65). Thank you for supporting this effort!
